Use Flexible Mould - 6837

Always popular, this is a quick and easy recipe to cook in the square mould

Makes 8 pieces


175g ( 6oz ) unsalted butter
175g ( 6oz ) plain chocolate, broken into pieces
3 eggs, medium
200g ( 7oz) caster sugar
75g ( 3oz) plain flour
50g ( 2oz ) cocoa powder
75g ( 3oz) white chocolate, roughly chopped
75g (3oz) milk chocolate, roughly chopped


Preheat oven to 180ºC, 350ºF, Fan oven 160ºC, Gas mark 4

Put the butter and chocolate into a small saucepan. Melt together very gently over a low heat, stirring well until very smooth. Allow to cool.

Put the eggs and sugar into a bowl. Whisk together until thick and creamy.

Gently fold in the cooled chocolate mixture and combine together well.

Sift together the flour and cocoa powder and fold gently into the mixture until thoroughly combined.

Gently stir in the chopped white and milk chocolate.

Stand the mould on a baking tray.

Pour the mixture into the mould, spreading evenly.

Bake for approximately 35 – 40 minutes until firm and set.

Cool completely in the mould.

Turn out and cut into squares.

Suitable for freezing
